Clearview Cassette
Single-architected, modular fiber management platform for deploying, managing, protecting and scaling fiber optic networks
Clearview Cassettes are a core building block of every product within the FieldSmart® fiber management system.
This platform features flexibility and scalability with enhanced configuration options including tool-less installation, in-cassette buffer tube/ribbon slack storage, front access-only designs and a 25% smaller footprint.
Reducing the overall footprint of the fiber management element reduces real estate costs and improves density without compromising critical design elements of access, bend-radius protection, physical fiber protection and route-path diversity.
Options to consider:
Clearview Blue
Clearview Blue Cassettes are a core building block of every product within the FieldSmart® fiber management system, incorporating the same flexibility and scalability of Clearview Classic with enhanced configuration options including tool-less installation, in-cassette buffer tube/ribbon slack storage, front access-only designs and a 25% smaller footprint.
• Applications:
Provides 12 ports of connectivity, scaling one cassette at a time, for patch and splice, patch only (stubbed) or plug-and-play (MPO/MTP) configurations in any network environment. Additional optical components integrate into cassette housing supporting any input/output combination of splitting, mux and demux strategies desired.
Clearview Black
Clearview Black incorporates the same flexibility and scalability of both the Clearview Classic and Clearview Blue in a 50% smaller footprint than the Clearview Blue. This reduces real estate costs and improves density without compromising critical design elements of access, bend-radius protection, physical fiber protection and route-path diversity.
• Applications:
Provides 12 to 24 ports of connectivity for patch and splice, patch only and plug-and-play (MPO/MTP) configurations in any network environment. It scales and multiplies to meet your specific port density and application needs. Additionally, optical components integrate into the cassette, supporting any input/output combination of splitting or mux and demux strategy desired.
Clearview Blue TAP
Clearview Blue TAP Cassette integrates optical components into the same cassette, allowing service providers to mix and match fiber modules within the same chassis. Clearview Blue is a six component tool-less system made up of a top cover, expansion ring, splice tray, buffer tube/ribbon slack storage, cable assembly tray and 12-pack adapter plate.
• Applications:
Features 12 LC/UPC bi-directional transmit/receive ports and an MPO input to provide a complete plug-and-play solution for managing fibers. The LC/UPC ports connect to each BBU, while the MPO input provides an interconnect or cross-connect to FieldSmart FxDS Tie Panels. Each cassette also contains 12 custom pinned 1 x 2 (50/50 split ratio) FBT splitters. These provide 12 LC/UPC non-intrusive test access ports for live service monitoring, troubleshooting and maintenance.
Clearview Classic
Clearview Classic is a system of six parts that fully nest together to support any application in the inside or outside plant, supporting the configuration element desired for the environment into which it is being deployed. All types of fiber construction can be integrated into the cassette. The cassette can support all patch only, patch & splice, passive optical component hardware, and plug n’ play scenarios.
• Applications:
Supporting patch only, in-cassette splicing, and optical component packaging for all cable constructions and environments, Clearview Classic multiplies and scales to meet your port density and application needs. It serves as a multiplier for fiber management solutions that scale from 12-port wall boxes to 864-port cross-connects, and everything in between.
Clearview xPAK
Clearview xPAK is engineered to land small port count fiber assemblies and optical components as conveniently and inexpensively as possible, and simplifies fiber management to the level of a consumable good. A single-piece element in which all required components for fiber protection are integrated. It is shipped flat and simply folds to shape. Supports two, four or six ports of patch and splice configurations.
• Applications:
• Fiber demarcation
• Multi-dwelling units applications
• Business class services
• Telecommunications room
• Cellular backhaul
• Security systems (CCTV)
• Fiber exhaust
• Entrance facilities
• CATV node segmentation
