The S233 Ribbon Splitter can split 4, 8, 12, and 24-fiber ribbons quickly and accurately when used with the corresponding adapters. The unit features a compact design for field use and all-metal body for maximum durability. Accommodates interchangeable fiber guides for different ribbon sizes and no tools are required to change fiber guides.
APPLICABLE OPTICAL FIBER:
Silica glass-based optical fibers, single fiber, 0.25 mm and 0.9 mm coating diameter, 0.125 mm clad diameter.
The S315 field cleaver requires some skill to achieve the desired cleave angle so it may not be appropriate for some splicing applications.
